South African experience of a lifetime!

Daily rates commence upon our client’s arrival at the airport of collection, and terminate on the agreed-upon concluding date of the hunting safari.

$1000 deposit is required for booking confirmation. The balance is payable in full before the last day of the safari. No exceptions.

All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are transferable or may be rolled over. In the event of a rolled-over deposit, Henry Griffiths Safaris agrees to adhere to the original agreement, provided that the re-booking does not exceed a timespan of twelve months from the date of the original booking.

We recommend that our clients make provision for trip cancellation insurance.

Cash, Electronic Bank Transfers and all major credit cards (Visa or Mastercard) with a 3% bank charge are acceptable forms of payment.

DAILY RATES & PACKAGES INCLUDE:

Pick-up and drop off at the nearest airport to camp in the area in which you will be hunting unless prior special arrangements have been made
15% Government Tax

Services of an experienced and qualified Professional Hunter with a well-equipped four-wheel-drive vehicle and a tracker
Complete support crew of camp staff, trackers, skinners and cook
Safari camps and accommodation

Provincial transfers if required unless prior special arrangements have been made

Local shopping trips to town
Gratuities for safari staff and Professional Hunters

SPECIALS AND PACKAGES 2023/2024

Starter Plains Game Package: Total cost $3000 per hunter
Hunts available on our main hunting area near Schweizer-Reneke at the Wild goose Luxury lodge as base camp in the North west Province of South Africa. Travel from the airport is 4.5 hours by hunting car, runway nearby for charter flights available on request.
Included in the hunt:

6 nights 5 full hunting days

1 x Blesbok Trophy

1 x Springbok trophy

1 x Impala Trophy

1 x Blue Wildebees Trophy

1 x Free night time Jackal and porcupine hunt

1 x Free female cull animal - Blesbok female/Sprinbuck female/warthog female (species will be determent by time of year and availability)

1 x full day or half day of wings shooting for dove, guinea fowl and geese (time permitting, excluding shotgun ammo)

Full catering and drinks (water, soft drinks, local beer)

Services of a registered and licensed big 5 Professional hunter and experienced trackers and skinners

Pick up and drop off at OR international Airport in Johannesburg.

Transportation on the hunting area and recovery of trophies with fully rigged Land cruiser hunting Vehicles

Transportation of trophies to Highveld taxidermy or Trophy pickup can be arranged by your Taxidermist
Hunting Method and Terrain:
We will use hunting vehicle to locate tracks or game and proceed from there on foot. The hunting area is flat with with sandy soil. Vegetation varies from open grassland to thick bush. Range for Shots will be less than 250 yards. This hunt is available to both Rifle and bow hunters. Bow hunters can choose to walk and stalk or to hunt from blinds and hides over salt licks and or water.
Lodging:
Fully serviced lodge with choice of accommodation's. Either Luxury safari tents with on suite ablutions or luxury rooms also with on suite ablutions.
Trophy Quality:
Hunter's can expect above average trophies of the highest quality.
Cost:
Total cost for the hunt is $3000, this includes everything mentioned above but excludes Flights , Trip insurance , and any other extra activities like extra days or other transport outside if normal hunting activities. Extra animals can be added to the package from our normal pricelist. This offer will be available for the 2023 and 2024 seasons! Species can also be traded for other plains game on the area to the same value of the package price! We have have a limited number of these hunts available and offer will end at the end of the 2024 season. Observers can join the hunt @ $140/day, Extra days can be added at $275/day for a hunter. 2 or more Hunters booking together the cost will be $2800 per hunter.
Guiding:
I will personally be guiding these hunts on our area to ensure high quality hunt and experience.
Roan Trophy hunts: Total cost $4500 per hunter
Hunts available on our main hunting area near Schweizer-Reneke at the Wild goose Luxury lodge as base camp in the North west Province of South Africa. Travel from the airport is 4.5 hours by hunting car, runway nearby for charter flights available on request.

5 days of hunting for 1 hunter
Luxury hunting camp accommodation and services (PH, tracker and camp staff)
Transport to and from the Airport, Transport on the hunting area in fully rigged land cruiser hunting vehicles
Food and drinks
Trophy bull no size limit!
Transportation of the trophy to taxidermist and field prep

Extra days and animals can be added from regular pricelist as well as leisure stay at Game Reserves
Sable Trophy hunts: Total cost $3000 per hunter
Hunts available on our main hunting area near Schweizer-Reneke at the Wild goose Luxury lodge as base camp in the North west Province of South Africa. Travel from the airport is 4.5 hours by hunting car, runway nearby for charter flights available on request.
Included in the hunt:
5 days of hunting for 1 hunter
Basic hunting camp accommodation and services(PH, tracker and camp staff)
Transport to and from the Airport
Food and drinks
Trophy bull up to 40 inches
Transportation of the trophy to taxidermist and field prep

Extra days and animals can be added as well as leisure stay at Game Reserves
Buffalo and Sable hunts: Total cost $12000 per hunter

Included in the hunt:
6 nights 5 full hunting days.
1 x Trophy Hardboss Daggaboy Buffalo.
1 x Trophy Sable bull.
Full catering and drinks.
Services of a registered and licensed big 5 Professional hunter and experienced trackers and skinners.
Transportation from the OR Tambo international Airport in Johannesburg to the hunting area and back by luxury vehicle.
Transportation on the hunting area and recovery of trophies with fully rigged Land cruiser hunting Vehicles.
Transportation of trophies to Highveld taxidermy or Trophy pickup can be arranged by your Taxidermist.

Trophy Quality:
We have averaged over 40" on the sable we guided the last few years so its safe to say hunters can expect a Sable bull of over 40 inches unless the hunter decides to take some of the real old bulls that we have roaming around. these big old boys have worn down horns and some broken tips but are some amazing trophies with big bodies and lots of character. As for the Buffalo a hunter can expect to get a real old and mean buffalo bull with a rock hard boss with a spread of 38-42 inches give or take, we some awesome Daggaboys roaming the area. There are more than 150 buffalo on the area and hunter can choose his bull doesn't have to hunt the first one that you see. please follow this deal as we will be adding pictures and video's regularly as well as trailcam pictures.
Cost:
Total cost for the hunt is $12000, this includes everything mentioned above but excludes Flights , Trip insurance , and any other extra activities like extra days or other transport outside if normal hunting activities. Extra animals can be added to the package from our normal pricelist. This offer will be available for the 2023 and 2024 seasons! The sable can also be traded for other plains game on the area to the same value of the package price for sable! We have 15 of these hunts available and offer will end at the end of the 2024 season.
